Data

For private mobility, FCD data (Floating Car Data) from Targa Telematics - Viasat has been used. This data consists of GPS records including the anonymous identifier of the vehicle, the position's longitude and latitude, the timestamp, the progressive distance, the status of engine (for ICE vehicles), the autonomy (for EV vehicles), the plugging status (for EV vehicles), the instant speed, the type of the vehicle (passenger and commercial vehicles) and the GPS signal quality.

For public transport mobility, GTFS data (General Transit Feeds Specifications data), has been used. This is a widely used open-source data format adopted by the public transport authority of several cities to describe their planned and real-time public transport service. GTFS contains static information and the time schedule about public transport service, with a common format related to public transportation schedules and associated geographic information. GTFS data consists of several variables.
